Green Horizon Landscaping
I love working for myself.

I started Green Horizon Landscaping four years ago. I'd had summer jobs doing landscaping for a town's recreation department. After I graduated college, I decided to start my own business. It's a family operation. My brother's my number one employee.

We mostly do residential property maintenance, and we drive a Ram 3500 Chassis Cab with a dump truck body. My favorite part of the job is taking something that looks bad and turning it around, making it look beautiful-like a masterpiece. I love doing that.

Why I Chose the Ram 3500 Chassis Cab

Towing / Hauling

Chrysler offers a jake brake, which is really helpful for towing equipment like lawnmowers and our dump-trailer. It also has a built-in brake control unit, which is much better than some of the others on the market.

BusinessLink/Dealer Relationship

My experience at the dealership was great. I went there because they carried what I was looking for, and the dealership itself is unbelievable. They've got a barbershop, a diner, a daycare center, a car museum and more. It was the first time I had seen anything like that in a dealership. We were all impressed.

If it's work, it's Ram.

We're a family business. Our name is what matters most.

My father and grandfather started The Barn Yard in 1984, designing, building and delivering fully assembled sheds for our customers. Twenty-seven years later, our family business is doing better than we ever expected. We even recently expanded our offerings to include custom barns and garages.

Today I'm assistant vice president of business, running the shed and storage building part of the business. I'm responsible for running sales meetings, ordering inventory and coming up with promotions. But I'm also still very hands-on, which is why I drive a Ram 4500. It looks great pulling up to customers' homes and it always gets the job done.

Towing / Hauling

The buildings we're selling are heavier than ever and we need a truck that'll tow them.

BusinessLink / Dealer Relationship

I don't have eight months to buy a vehicle. It was in stock when I needed it, and we had it on the road within two weeks.
